What’s the role about

We are currently looking for a 12 month contract Product Manager. As a Product Manager at REISS, you will liaise with Design, Merchandising, Buying and Technical departments to ensure Reiss maintains strong supplier relationships and innovative product development through the supply base. This role also is responsible for managing the product critical path for their categories and to ensure each product target margin is achieved, with support from Head of where necessary.

  • Possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with relevant departments and suppliers
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work with design team to develop product ranges that meet business criteria for design, price, quality and delivery in line with range plan. Regular catch ups with Senior Designer and Head of.
  • Have regular meetings with Design and Buying to ensure design efficiency.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure that Leather, fabric and trims meet business performance and aftercare standards
  • Attend fit meetings to monitor any changes which effect price and lead time.
  • Supplier management, keeping in regular contact and developing relationships
  • Responsible for all product pricing and achieving target margin. Find solutions to ensure all product hits target margin but remains within design vision
  • Drive supplier selection and take responsibility for cost price negotiation. Ensure detailed costing breakdowns are received from suppliers and engineered to price point
