What’s the role about?

As part of our Finance team, you’ll be joining as our Account Assistant who is responsible for matching stock invoices to stock receipted on our system, problem solving when errors occur with stock differences and processing freight invoices

Who you are

  • You have 1-2 years’ experience working within accounts
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong IT skills in Excel and Word
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills- both verbal and written
  • You are organised with strong time management skills
  • Efficient, reliable and focused

What you’ll be doing

  • Monitoring the matching sheet, logging any queries and reporting any problems
  • Matching stock invoices to goods received notes and coding of sample invoices to the correct nominal accounts
  • Processing freight and duty invoices and make payment
  • Dealing directly with suppliers regarding payments and invoice queries
  • Payment Runs to stock/freight suppliers
  • Creating management reports on our stock, as and when requested
