What’s the role about?

As part of our marketing department, you’ll be joining our marketing team as Senior Brand Marketing & Communications Manager. You will be responsible for content and PR activity to build the brand and maximise profitable growth through Reiss own channels and stores, partner channels, paid and earned brand media. Develop a calendar of activity to drive awareness and consideration of Reiss to fuel customer growth in the UK and internationally, reviewing and reporting on the impact of that activity.

Who you are

  • An experienced marketer, with knowledge across multiple marketing disciplines (PR, brand, digital, partnerships, etc.)
  • Someone with a proven ability to manage a team to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Someone with experience creating Press days and other PR/VIP events
  • A logical and pragmatic marketer who understands the long-term and short-term commercial needs of a marketing plan
  • A highly analytical person who can clearly communicate the impact of their work
  • Someone with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, prioritise and co-ordinate tasks

    What you’ll be doing

    • Develop social-first content ideas to deliver against product and marketing objectives
    • Brief and evaluate responses from Reiss paid media channel owners, and external media owners and agencies
    • Accountable for the content, social and PR plans and delivery
    • Proactively pitch to target media to seek new opportunities and maximise the placement of key brand and product messages and seasonal content
    • Oversee the distribution of seasonal press kits including look books, relevant imagery, press releases and alerts to secure quality press coverage
    • Negotiate agency fees and media buys to ensure competitive pricing
    • Create and manage a customer comms calendar based on product seasonal plans and consumer insights
    • Write marketing, PR and creative briefs and run the briefing meetings
    • Ongoing management of the marketing activity calendar, campaign plan, budget and coordination of go-to market plans across all brand media, content and PR channels
    • Management and planning of contractual marketing spend based on Reiss product performance, key messaging, and available marketing placements
