What’s the role about?

You’ll be joining the Reiss as Girlswear Assistant Designer. You will be assisting with design concept through to final product presentation.

Who you are

  • You will have a design qualification
  • Strong sketching and CAD skills
  • Strong market and trend awareness
  • Creative with refined taste
  • Self-motivated and team orientated
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

What you’ll be doing

  • Researching into seasonal directions and trends suitable for the Reiss aesthetic
  • Creating and updating colour palettes
  • Working with fabric department to support design research
  • Helping prepare presentations, meetings and sketch review packs
  • Creating all relevant detail sketches and CADS for specs and presentations
  • Working with the technical team so that all expectations of prototype requirements are met
  • Working with product development on factory placement per style
