What’s the role about?

As part of our Womenswear team, you’ll be joining our as our Senior Designer, who is an integral member of the team, working closely with the Design Director and Head of Womenswear on trend and mood direction through to the development of a collection in-line with the Reiss identity.

Who you are

  • You’ll have relevant experience within a design team working for a luxury brand
  • Experience managing relationships internally and with factories and suppliers
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Project management experience within a similar role
  • Working as part of a team, having a hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with and inspire people of different levels within the business
  • Strong sketching and Draping skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines

What you’ll be doing

  • Working closely with the Design Director to set and execute collection directions
  • Responsible for the entire creative process of their own area within womenswear design from concept, sketch, proto and to final SMS ranges
  • Responsible for day and occasion-wear within the softs area
  • Creating clear detailed factory technical packs
  • Liaising with product developing on all softs womenswear collection development
  • Working closely with buying and Merchandising to ensure commercial but creative collections are delivered seasonally
  • Any other duty as directed by management
