What’s the role about?

We are looking for a Data & Insights Lead to help shape the way Reiss thinks about using data to understand and measure performance and insight to unlock the narrative that can be translated into growth opportunities. This role requires analysing data from a wide range of channels and input, to bring everything together whilst ensuring confidence in analytical conclusions, advocating a robust and innovative approach.

The two key areas would be Business Performance (Sales reports and forecasting) and Marketing & Customer Analysis.

What you'll be doing

Business Performance

  • Work alongside our Commercial Finance and Web Trading teams, to deliver high-level business sales reporting and forecasting for the Reiss.com channel.
  • Support the business in building business cases for key Reiss.com projects, ensuring that they deliver on profit thresholds.

Marketing & Customer Analysis

  • Analyse and understand the contribution of marketing to Reiss business performance. Specifically, maximising profitable growth and building short-term performance and longer-term brand marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate alongside the Reiss Executive team, providing insight and analysis that discovers additional growth and optimisations within marketing activities.
  • Analyse core customer metrics, such as Customer Lifetime Value and employing segmentation techniques (e.g. RFM).
  • Create a single view of the customer across both online and retail, being a key project that this role will lead on.
  • Report on our customer base, whilst providing actionable insights to increase acquisition and maximise LTV.
  • Identifying drivers for profitability. This includes acquiring full-price customers and collaborating with marketing teams to optimise this recruitment.

Who you are

  • Highly proficient in using Google Analytics and visualisation/dashboarding tools (e.g. Looker Studio and Power BI).
  • Experienced in online marketing and traffic acquisition experience within a retail business.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and understanding of ETL and data transformation processes.
  • Confident in delivering insights to a range of both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Significant exposure across platforms and online marketing channels (e.g. Paid Search/Shopping, Affiliates, Social, Display), as well as optimising across paid and organic traffic strategies.
  • Strong understanding of MarTech tooling/capabilities.
  • Experienced in using of return-on-investment models for Paid Marketing, understanding the pros and cons to choose the relevant measurement methods.
  • Possess a data-driven mindset, with a focus on linking data back to business objectives.
  • An excellent and capable leader, having the ability to support junior members of the team.
  • Flexible and agile, able to react positively to rapidly evolving business requirements.
